Vision and mission

In 2015 for the first time in the 20-year history of Campus Krems, Danube University Krems, IMC University of Applied Sciences Krems and Karl Landsteiner University of Health Sciences teamed up to stage a summer ball which has become an annual highlight for the region’s education, academic and science communities.

Objective

The Campus Ball Krems aims to highlight the importance of education, science and research to Lower Austria as well as promote dialogue with the general public.

A university town

In recent years Lower Austria has sharpened its profile as a research hotspot and attracted recognition from outside the region. Krems is a university town and home to many educational and training institutions, high-calibre research groups, scientific enterprises and international students. It is a one of Austria’s leading education and research hubs and the flag bearer for scientific activities in Lower Austria.

By hosting this summer ball night, the universities at Campus Krems aim to highlight the values behind a successful educational, scientific and research community – excellence, innovation and diversity – for a national and international audience.
