When the emerald lizard slowly wakes up after its winter rest, spring has arrived in the Wachau region. With it Campus Krems is covered in colors and buzzing noises…as for every year many visitors are destined for Wachau taking in the experience the flourishing apricot flower evokes. Springtime: time to awake, to fall in love and let Krems appear in its best colors.

Over 1,300 people attended the third Campus Ball Krems held on 10 June 2017. Lower Austria’s unique summer ball was opened by the Provincial Governor of Lower Austria, Johanna Mikl-Leitner, and representatives of the evening’s hosts: Danube University Krems, IMC University of Applied Sciences Krems and Karl Landsteiner University of Health Sciences. Have you already considered to combine your visit to Campus Ball Krems with a short vacation in the beautiful Wachau? We have two great tips for your weekend preparation! On June 10 from 10 am onwards the first Gault Millau Landpartie takes place at the Organic Winery Geyerhof in Oberfucha, which 31 winemakers from all over the world and five Lower Austrian gourmet chefs will attend. For the evening before the ball we highly recommend a dynamic Danube river cruise with a unique New Orleans flair on board of the MS Austria!
A perfect evening also requires delicious food in a relaxed atmosphere. This is why we open the doors exclusively for our guests with an all-inclusive package at 19:00, so that the exquisite pre-dinner can be enjoyed in a state of tranquillity. This year the package includes drinks for the first 3 hours as well as a reserved seat in the festive ballroom.
